It was almost midnight. Lights were off in Atul’s room. But there was faint light in the room, which was of the computer monitor, which was being operated by Atul in the corner. Atul was totally engrossed in doing something on the computer. Around him, every where littered were plates , empty , partially empty coffee mugs, glasses, and a more than half empty whisky bottle. Exactly behind him was Alex, slept with legs and hands spread around on the bed. In the midnight silence Atul was operating fast on the computer, and there was a specific sound of the keyboard, breaking that silence in the room. Behind Atul was Alex stirring and turning around trying to sleep. He seemed to be disturbed by the keyboard noise. Lastly when it became unbearable he got up,
“ Hey.. what’s going on?... Its since last 8 days I could see you are continuously making this noise day in and day out... Why don’t you let me sleep? ... Due to this noise I am on the verge of getting mad you know...”
Atul kept quiet, still operating on the computer.
“ OK... Let me know what you are doing... will you?... What is that work .. which is going on since last 8 days.. let me know” Alex said, going to Atul.
“ I am breaking Vivek’s and Anjali’s password.. I have broken Anjali’s... not it’s Vivek’s turn... “ Atul said, without looking at him, still continuing on computer.
“ I can understand.. that you are breaking the passwords... but what about my head, which is on the verge of breaking ... due to this annoying noise” Alex again went to his bed.
He was least bothered about whose password is broken and whose not. He was only concerned about the money. Alex pulled a sheet over his face; still he was not able to get rid of that noise. So he tried to cover his ears with the pillow, but in vain. Lastly he tore the pillow in the corner, pulled some cotton from it, and crammed into his ears.

Now it was around 3 O’ Clock in the morning, still Atul’s work on the computer was going on restless. Behind him, Alex seemed to be managed somehow to sleep, as he was in deep sleep.
Suddenly, while working on the computer, Atul get up victoriously and happily, “ Yess.. ya hoo.. I have done it”
He cried so loudly that Alex, who was sleeping, woke up startled, “ What’s wrong? ... What’s wrong” Fearfully he was asking Atul.
“ Come on .. Cheers Alex... We have got a key to the treasure ... look here” Atul said holding Alex’s hand, and pulling him to computer.
Alex came with him, though uninterested, and looked at the monitor.
“ Look I have broken Vivek’s password too and look the mail sent by Anjali in his mail box” Atul was trying to attract his attention to an open mail.
The mail opened on the monitor was Anjali’s mail sent by her to Vivek and it read –
“ Vivek... on 25th of this month, 12 PM I am coming to Mumbai, in connection with a meeting... 12.30 I will reach Hotel Oberoi... And then getting fresh I will attend the meeting which is scheduled at 1. ... Meeting will be over by 3.. 4 at the most... You meet me on Versova beech by 5 .. sharp 5.. Bye for now.. take care”

“ Come on... now we have to get ready to shift our camp to Mumbai...” Atul said to Alex, getting up.
Alex looked at Atul with disbelief. Now he was getting, what Atul was doing on computer since 8 days, and how it was connected to their intention.
“ Hey Atul... you are genius” Now Alex was beaming up with enthusiasm.

She just smiled. She was aware and proud of his presence of mind.

Anjali’s car stopped in front of the lavish hotel - Hotel Oberoi. While taking the vehicle to parking section she said, “ Just a minute.. I have forgotten my cell in the hotel room... I will collect it and then we will proceed.... otherwise..” She abruptly stopped and asked, “How about a tea or coffee..” Anjali said getting down the vehicle.
He just shook his head in affirmation. Anjali got down and proceed towards the hotel and Vivek also got down to follow her.

As Anjali arrived in the office, she first finished the important office works, like important posts, important official mails, progress reports etc. The mails, which were important, she replied to them, some mails she got them printed for further actions. After finishing the important works she opened the chatting session. Whenever she used to feel exhausted or when she used to be free, she used to chat, it was her daily routine. It was not an easy task to lead such a huge company. Chatting was her good finding to cope up with the work related tensions and stress. When she was busy with chatting, her phone rang; she attended it, still continuing with chatting. She was accustomed to handle all the jobs in parallel fashion, as if, like computers, she was equipped with parallel processing.

" Yes Mona" she responded to her receptionist on the phone.

" Madam... Net Secura’s Managing Director... Mr. Bhatia is on the line" response came from the other side.

" Connect please" She instructed.

By that time a message appeared on the chatting session window, ‘ Hi’

Anjali checked the sender’s identity; it was ‘Tom Boy’

‘What a boring and irritating person he is.’ she thought.

This ‘Tom Boy’ used to present almost always on the chatting, as if, only to annoy her. When he is present on the chatting, and Angali opened the chatting session, it never happened that he did not annoy her with his the very first message.
‘ He didn’t has other work or what... bastard ... always present on the chat room. ‘
Anjali decided to ignore him today. There were few offline messages in her chatting inbox. Anjali held the phone cradle in between her ear and shoulder, and started checking the offline messages, operating her fingers swiftly on the keyboard.

" Good morning Mr. Bhatia... How are you?’’ As the phone was connected, she simultaneously conversed on the phone.

She paused in between to hear the conversation from the other side.

"Look, Bhatiajee... We are the best at our quality and delivery schedules... you don’t worry... we will deliver your product on time.. Did it happen ever, that our delivery schedule is missed? .. Never... isn’t it... then don’t worry... you rest assured... yes... ok. Bye .." Anjali disconnected, and again spoke to her receptionist, pressing two digits, " Send Sharwari in please"

During the phone conversation, her attention was distracted from the computer, because her punch line was - if its work, the importance goes to work first, and rest of the things latter.

Suddenly the computer beeped; there was some message in the chat window. Anjali looked at the computer, in annoyance.

‘ God... Again the same ‘Tom Boy’

She checked the identy of message sender, but it was not ‘Tom Boy’. She sighed in relief and started reading it.

" Would you like to be my friend" the message read.

In a bookstore Daniel picked a random book from a rack and flipped through it. Suzan was standing beside him. She seemed to be drowned in her thoughts.

"Look.... this book is about Indian dishes...See here the preparation of curry … you like. Isn’t it?" Daniel said turning over some pages.

When Daniel turned to look at Suzan, she was not there.
He kept back the book on the shelf and looked around. She was not around in the hall. He rummaged around for her in the bookstore. He went and looked for her in the other adjacent halls, she was not there too.

Just now she was here...

Where the hell has she gone?..
There was a small magazine room nearby. He peeked in, to find nothing but an empty room.

Recently she is behaving weird...

May be because of her brother's and his wife’s disappearance...

May be she would have returned home, leaving behind me alone here...

Daniel thought. Hurriedly, he went out of the shop and looked around. She was not seen anywhere.
Car keys are with her...

Did she return home by car?..

He ran towards the parking lot. He was relieved to find his car in place.

That means she must be around here...

Certainly she is not outside the shop..

I must check her out again in the shop...

He came back again in the shop. He checked each and every nook and corner of the library but he could not find her. Suddenly he realized that the bookstore had one more floor.

She must be upstairs...

He rushed upstairs. The first floor had 3-4 halls. He searched carefully everywhere. There was not much crowd on the first floor, as compared to the ground floor.

Where the hell she would have gone?...

Now he was getting worried. Before leaving the first floor he casually peeked in an adjacent reading room. He found her standing and facing towards the shelf in the corner. He went to her. She was leafing through a book. He was relieved that at last he had found her.

"Honey, what are you doing here?" He asked, approaching her, "I was so worried for you"

Suzan was so engrossed in the book that she did not respond. Daniel held her shoulder to make her aware, " Suzan... "

Suzan kept back the book on the shelf, looked at Daniel, and walked to the other shelf. Daniel surprisingly gazed her while she was going.

Daniel picked the book from the shelf kept back by her. He read the title, it was - ‘Black Hole’

It had become Stella's and Jacob's daily practice to search around in the den. Stella and Jacob raked their torch light into the den. Dead silence. Some sound like a munching of some creature broke the silence, probably the same creature. Fear crept over their faces. Stella held Jacob’s hand firmly. They slipped the focus of the light in the direction from where the sound was coming. They heard a low growl. They dazed. As they held the focus of light in that direction for a while, the sound stopped.
While moving the torch focus around in the den, they saw a piece of cloth entangled with a steep rock. They started to approach it. Suddenly the loud munching sound came again, probably very near. They slid the focus of the light. They saw a terrible jaw eating flesh. They remained still- rock still. The jaw stopped eating. An unnatural silence filled. Suddenly the creature jumped on them. They shouted with terror, defending themselves. It seemed the creature jumped to run away from them, rather than attacking them. Their torchlight followed the beast. It was a huge wild dog. The dog immediately jumped into ‘D-exit’ well.

"Intelligent creature." Jacob said sighing in relief.

" Oh..." Stella also sighed in relief.

" But how could it survive here?" Stella asked.

" Why? ... He is intelligent. He has right to survive. " Jacob said.

"It seems Tommy manages everything with his smell sense." Jacob said further, trying to ease the atmosphere.

"What about water?" Stella asked.

"It is there in one of the level B black holes." Jacob informed her.

They turned to the place from where the dog had emerged. A dead body lied upside down. Jacob went closer. Stella almost held her breath. Sickened, he turned the body. They saw a partially eaten face with eyes bulged out. Stella covered her face with her hands in disgust. He was the boy’s father, who had disappeared in the well.

Stella and Jacob reached the piece of a cloth entangled with a steep rock. Stella held it and observed closely. Suddenly her face fainted and eyes welled up.

"It’s Gibson’s shirt." She said in chocked voice.

She felt her legs weakening and she sank on to her knees, hitting the floor hard. She buried her face into her hands and began sobbing. Jacob squatted down holding her shoulder and tried to soothe her.

Through the train car window, in which they sat, they saw the green pleasing farms outside passing by. In the same area they saw a village at the bottom of a hill and a beautiful river snaked through the path by the hill and the village. Naughty cowboys were playing and looking after their cattle at the bank of the river.

Suzan and Daniel huddled together, were watching those scenes outside the window. At the same time they were swaying with the lulling movement of the train.

"I am just not able to believe that my wish to visit India for honeymoon is been fulfilled now." Suzan said.

Daniel naughtily rubbed his cheek with Suzan’s cheek, while looking outside. She turned and looked at him. They shared a tender look.

"I don’t know why but I have been always fascinated by India. It’s culture, and the people here." Suzan said.

Daniel gave her a loving and appealing look and said mischievously, " What about the fascination I am feeling about right now."

Suzan looked into his eyes, blushed and lowered her head.

"You know, sometimes it feels like we are together from years together. Moreover, sometimes it feels like we are strangers, meeting just now." Suzan said, trying to change the topic.

Daniel gently rested his head on her shoulder.

"It happens, it happens in love." Daniel said, slipping still close to her.

" In love sometimes, we feel a moment like years together and sometimes a year like a short moment. The time dimension changes altogether." Daniel said further.

" And now ...You know I am waiting eagerly for those special moments." Daniel said naughtily, off Suzan's silence.

Daniel pulled her in his arms, Suzan also didn't resist. They started kissing each other passionately.

Stella asked, alternatively focusing her torch light on 'D4' and 'D5', " D3 doesn't have air therefore it is dangerous, it can be understood, but, why these two are dangerous?"

Jacob strolled to the 'D5' well. A rock stood beside the well and on that rock an old-fashioned watch sat. The ‘Danger’ mark carved was visible on the rock.

"There is air in these two but they are equally dangerous." Jacob said.

" Come", Jacob took her to the rock where the watch sat, holding her arm.

Stella showed reluctance, trying to comprehend his expressions.

"Don’t fear. ...Only be sure, just follow my instructions when we jump in this black hole." Jacob assured and advised her.

Stella walked with him. He picked up the watch sitting on the rock and matched one with his own,

"See its 9.00 pm in both."

He kept the watch back on the rock and took her near the edge of the well.

"Now jump with me. ... And, as I told, be with me,.. always." Jacob warned her.

Stella nodded obediently and both of them jumped in, holding each other's hands tightly.

After some time Jacob and Stella found themselves fallen on the ground in the other rocky den.

"Come on getup quickly and run with me." Jacob said hurriedly getting up.

Jacob got up quickly, holding Stella’s hand and helping her to get up. When Stella got up, Jacob held Stella’s hand firmly and started running fast, almost pulling her with him. Stella was trying to match up with his pace.

"Come on... be fast. " He was saying while running.

Lastly they reached at the edge of the well, where the rock standing aside showed ‘exit’ carved on it.

"Come on... jump quickly." Jacob said as they reached to the edge.

Without wasting any time both of them jumped holding each other's hands.

Now Jacob and Stella fell on the ground in the rocky den at the previous level 'D'. Both of them got up slowly as they were out of breath due to running. Focusing his torch Jacob returned to the place where the watch sat. Stella followed him. 'D5' and 'Danger' written on the rock was visible in the torchlight. Jacob grabbed the watch. He matched it with his own. Stella was also looking at both the watches carefully.

"See its 9.03pm in our wristwatch and in this watch, it is 7.15 pm." Jacob showed her.

"Oh my god...about 2 hrs difference... What does it means?" Stella said with surprise, looking at her own wrist watch.

Her watch also showed 9.03pm.

"The dimension of the time in the black hole is different. The time runs in reverse direction in there." Jacob explained about the cause.

"However, we spent mere 3 minutes." Stella said, again looking at her wristwatch.

"3 minutes in there is equivalent to 2 hours back here." Jacob revealed.

"Unbelievable! " Stella was still not able to believe.

"If we spend more time in there, it is possible that we will travel in past and will reach the time, when these black holes themselves were not created. " Jacob explained further.

"So what? " Stella asked, not understanding.

"If the ‘Exit’ well is missing, how will you get back? You will be in trap forever." Jacob explained in more detail.

Jacob adjusted his wristwatch to 7.15pm. Stella also imitated him.

Stella was walking alone on the road. She looked ahead. There was nobody till the far end of the road. She turned and looked at the back. There was nobody on the other end of the road too. Still she kept walking ahead, to see an old castle standing in the middle of the wildly grown farm, on the left side of the road. She started to walk towards the castle as if some hidden unknown power was forcing her to do that.

When Stella entered the castle, she saw big portraits hung on the wall. It seemed that every portrait was depicting some mystery. She found a prism shape sculpture on the wall; she touched and felt its warmth, as if she wanted to store the feeling in her heart, for ever.
Suddenly she sensed someone’s presence in the castle. She looked around, sensed a shadow moving forward. She followed the shadow, felt like it was of Gibson.

“Gibson.” she called out.

Suddenly, the shadow disappeared in the dark.

“Gibson.” She called out again, little louder this time.

Calling him, she raked through the whole passage, but neither could she find the shadow nor him.

From far end, she saw a movement in the main door of the castle. She bolted to the main door and peered out. She found some movement in the bushes out. Therefore she ran towards it. Suddenly, she stopped, realizing that she stood at the edge of a well surrounded by a pile of black rocks. She felt some movement behind her. She turned, to saw Gibson coming out of the castle. She started moving slowly towards him. All of a sudden, a bright light fell on him and Gibson’s shadow fell on the ground. She saw slowly his shadow disappearing. She ran towards him, but by the time she reached him, Gibson also got dissolved completely. She reached the place where he was standing. Where Gibson was standing, she found a crystal fallen on the ground. She picked up the crystal, looked at it and cried desperately in agony...

...Looking at her hands, Stella woke up, her face looked panic. There was nothing in her hands. She looked around; found herself in the bedroom lying on the bed. She realized that whatever was happening with her was a mere dream.

She got down from the bed, immediately felt that somebody was staring thorough window. She looked at the window. She realized that whoever was in the window, crouched down immediately. As she vigilantly started to approach the window, some image stood and ran away from the window. She was horrified now; she quickly ran towards the bedroom door.

Suzan came out of the house with police officer Brat to walk him out. But he stopped at the door, may be he still wanted to ask something more. Suzan waited for him to talk, when they heard a roar of a bike stopping at the gate. The rider removed his helmet. It was Daniel, Suzan's friend. Seeing Brat and Suzan at the door, he waited there only, and kept sitting on the stopped bike. Brat looked at him with his inspecting gaze.

"Who is he? " Brat enquired.

"My friend ... Daniel" Suzan replied.

Brat stared at him strangely and whispered under his breath, " I see ...thirsty has rightly come to the well.

"What? ... Did you say something?" Suzan asked.

"No, Nothing." He replied sternly.

Brat turned to leave and stopped as if remembering something important, " Take care of Stella ... She is undergoing a shock very badly ... at least it ‘seems’ so."

It didn't escape from Suzan's realization that he had given more stress on the words 'seems’ than usual.

Brat was headed for the gate, when Suzan interrupted, "Seems’? ... What do you mean by ‘seems’? "

Brat abruptly stopped, smirked and turned to her.

"You know? Who is the greatest artist in the world? " Brat asked her unexpectedly.

Suzan looked at Brat in surprise, not knowing what he is talking about.
Brat walked few steps, stopped again and turning towards Suzan answered his own puzzle, "A criminal"
Brat walked out quickly not looking back even once.

When Brat went out of the gate, he stopped near Daniel, stared at him, holding his shoulder, made his collar right. Daniel was surprised at his strange behavior. Before Daniel could say anything, Brat stalked towards his jeep.
Daniel kept looking at him in surprise.

Brat sat in his jeep, closed the door slamming it hard and started the jeep. When the jeep departed Daniel kept looking at it, ignoring the dust and the smoke coming on his face.

"What do you think? " Brat asked without giving any reference.
Confused, Suzan looked at him.

"No... I am just clueless. Actually, he is very particular... even if he is late for 2-3 hours; he rings up." Suzan replied.

"You are ringing the same bell as your brother’s wife." Brat said sarcastically under his breath.

"Moreover, nothing like this has ever happened before." Suzan continued.

"What do you think about kidnapping possibility?" Brat asked.

"Who will kidnap him?" Suzan asked, as if to self.

"May be some foe." Brat tried to give her clue.

"I don’t think so... forget about enemy he even doesn’t have friends... His nature is like that... He is little introvert." Suzan said.

Brat etched his forehead, seemed to be thinking something.

"How was his married life?"

"I mean was he happy?" Brat continued off Suzan’s silence and confusion.

"Absolutely!" Suzan said firmly.

"How is Stella’s attitude towards him and you?" Brat asked further.

" Nice ... In fact Stella is always friendly with us. " Suzan replied.

"Something suspicious about Stella...? " Brat asked.

"Suspicious? ... Are you suspecting her?"

"She is very simple. She could never even think of whatever you are suspecting." Suzan said off Brat’s silence.

"No, not like that... my suspicion is somewhat different." Brat tried to be more clear.

"Different ... What do you mean?" Suzan expressed her surprise.

"I mean ...You know ...some extramarital affair or ...something like that." Brat felt awkward to express his real concern.

"No ...No, it's just not possible." Suzan slammed back sharply.

Suzan didn't like Brat's approach to blame and involve her brother's wife directly into such delicate matters.

"I am sorry to say...Officer I think you are crazy... " Suzan said rudely. And then trying to control her anger she said, " I mean ...I think you are beating around the bush. Just look at her, and think, could she indulge in such things? "

Brat smiled strangely and said, "You know ... smiling teeth hurt badly ... when they bite."

"Green goggles see grass everywhere." Suzan replied back sharply.

"Look ... Miss...." Brat pretended to forget her name.

"Suzan. " She said sharply and firmly.

"Yeah! Ms Suzan ... I can understand the emotions you are going through. But, I can’t help. It’s a part of routine enquiry. " Brat said.

Suzan tried to control her anger. In an effort, she bit her nails and stared outside the window.

" Just relax." Brat tried to calm her down at the same time he checked the possibility of Suzan’s outburst to speak something important. But, she did not speak anymore.

Brat got up to leave.

" OK, I take your leave. .. If you find something worth mentioning... " Brat looked inside suspiciously, towards the door curtain, " ...Or worth hiding ... just, don’t hesitate to ring me up"

"Yeah, sure." Suzan also got up.

Brat walked off. While going, he abruptly stopped, looked in for Stella. He glanced around, smirked. His watchful eyes must have caught the little movement in the door curtain.
He turned again to leave. Suzan walked him out.

Stella’s door bell rang. She went to front and opened the door to find Gibson standing in the door. As the door opened, he directly entered the house without giving her attention. Stella constantly stared at him. His face was gloomy with beard grown of 3-4 days.

“ Where were you?” She asked.

He did not speak.

“ Neither phone nor message... “ She continued.

Still Gibson kept going in without any response.

“I am not talking to walls.” Stella said in irritation.

Still he was silent.

“Gibson...please...I am talking to you.” She said blocking his way.

Gibson stopped and responded, without looking at her,
“ It’s better if we talk later ...Can’t you see ..at this moment I am in hurry.”

Gibson entered the bedroom. Stella kept staring at him until he entered the bedroom.
She was surprised of the sudden change in his behavior. He never behaved with her so rudely.

Stella was busy preparing break fast in the kitchen. She broke an egg, striking gently over the pan edge, poured the yolk and spread it evenly. She stopped making omelet when she heard the main door slam.

Did Gibson go out?...

But how can he go without informing me?..

She bolted to the main door, leaving behind the kitchen work as it was. On the way she found the bedroom door open and a charcoal sketch fallen on the ground. Curiously she went in and picked up the sketch. As she stood, something in the room caught her attention. A loud scream came out of her mouth. Animal skull was sitting on the table in the corner. She sprinted out, saw Gibson going out. Gibson headed for his car. Stella almost ran at him,

“Where are you going? “

“And, what the hell is that skull in the bedroom?” She said in anger off his silence.
Gibson kept on going.

“For God’s sake, will you speak out something?” She almost cried grumpily.
Gibson stopped.

“I will be back soon.” He said coolly and continued to walk towards the car.

As he walked towards the car, Stella got stunned. She saw that in the sunlight, the shadow of the car was falling on the ground, but Gibson’s shadow was missing. A wave of fear ran through her body. First time she was seeing such a phenomenon. She wanted to speak but she was unable to, as if her tongue was frozen inside her tight and locked jaw. Within seconds she was completely drenched out of sweat. She looked at him and again on the ground where there should have been his shadow fallen. It was true, his shadow was missing.

He got in the car, started the car, slamming back the car door.

When Stella came out of the shock, she called out him loudly, “Gibson”

Gibson was drowned in his thoughts. He was not able to listen to her nor did he want to listen. He drove away in full speed, without looking back, not even once.

“Gibson ...listen”

Stella rushed up to the compound gate.

“Gibson.”

But the car reached the far end of the road. She ran few yards behind the speedily departing car. After some time, the car was out of her sight.

Tonight Gibson again went to the well. He stood near the edge of the well and leaned to look in. He focused his torch flash inside the well but it was black and dark right through. He took few steps back and suddenly jumped in the well. No sound, everything was silent - horrifying silence, piercing the black darkness of the well.

When Stella came out of her thoughts she found herself sitting beside Jacob on the front seat and Jacob was driving the car. The crystal tied on Gibson's wrist again caught her attention; She stared at it. She was surprised of the size and the brightness of the crystal.

" Where did you get this?" Stella couldn't stop asking him.

Jacob glanced over Stella and the crystal.

"Seem to be fond of crystals. " He asked and continued to drive looking on the road ahead.

"Gibson ... Gibson gave me." He said further.

Stella looked at him and then kept on looking at the crystal. She went into her past again....


...... Gibson's car traveled with full speed on the road. He glanced over the green farms around, while driving the car. There was greenery everywhere around. After some time
The car passed by a wildly grown farm; an old Castle nestled beneath it. Gibson stopped his car taking to one side of the road and got down. He was as if mesmerized, looking at the castle. He slowly moved towards the castle, as if some unknown force attracted him.

When he reached the castle, he saw a black rocky well beside the Castle. A pile of black rocks surrounded the well.

This must be the same well...

He thought. Curiously, he headed towards the well.

He stood at the edge and leaned in. He picked up a stone nearby, threw in. There was no sound. He looked again inside, this time carefully. There was neither water inside nor any bottom; it was only an endless black ….a dark black hole.

It was a glorious morning in the small colony, nestled in the greenery. The Sun was rising. Atmosphere around the colony was filled with a freshness and enthusiasm, sweet chirping sound of birds added melody to it. Tall trees in and around the colony were swaying with a chilling breeze.

Few pedestrians were out for morning walk. Some residents were jogging and few running bicycles seemed to be racing with each other.

A small sweet bungalow was nestled in the middle of the colony with lawn and small garden around. The rising flowers in the garden seemed to be competing with each other. A bicycle stopped in front of the gate. Paperboy tossed a paper pack aiming at the front door. The paperboy was about to turn to leave, when a car arrived at the gate. Jacob, a tall handsome and muscular young man, in his thirties, got down. Jacob playfully patted on paperboy's head. Paperboy smiled in return and steered further.

Inside the Bungalow, in a hall, a beautiful but stern lady Stella, around 27-28 years of age, dialed a phone number. Though her serious face showed lot of worries and concerns, her face radiated and shined with a special aura. The dark circles around her eyes depicted the problems she was going through recently. A young, smart college girl, around 20-21 years of age, Suzan, stood beside her attentively.

" Is this Dr Franklin? " Stella asked over phone when the phone got connected.

" Mrs. Stella Fernandez, Dr. Gibson Fernandez’s wife " She introduced herself to the other side.
When the phone conversation was going on, the Doorbell rang. Stella gestured Suzan to check at the front door.

Suzan headed for the front door and Stella continued her conversation, " No this is regarding the research you were working on..."

When Suzan opened the front door, Her eyes widened with amazement, seeing Jacob standing in front of her.

" You? ... The other day.."

" I am Gibson’s friend, is Stella in?" Jacob said, cutting her in between.

Suzan turned and looked at Stella.
Taking the opportunity, Jacob entered the foyer and stood beside Stella. Suzan kept on looking at him annoyingly, while he entered.

"... I may trouble you sometime again..." Stella's conversation over phone could be heard.

" Sorry..."

" Thank you" Stella said off the response from other side and hung on. From her gloomy face it was evident that the purpose for which she phoned was not met up with.

Seeing Jacob standing beside her, Stella stared at him and Suzan alternatively with quizzical look.

"Hi, I am Jacob, Gibson’s friend." Before she could say anything Jacob introduced himself.

"Hi.." Stella responded.

Suddenly a transparent crystal tied on Jacob's wrist caught Stella's attention. She adoringly looked at it.

" Did we meet before?" Jacob asked her.

" I don’t think." Stella said trying to recall.

"Any way some or the other meeting has to be the first time.... In fact, Gibson never introduced us...I mean such occasion did not come ever before." Jacob said.

"Have a seat please." Stella said, realizing that she even did not offer him to sit.

Jacob sat down and Stella sat in a sofa across from him.

"Actually, I want to talk something very important." Jacob said.

Curiosity spread over Stella’s face. Suzan was still present there. Jacob glanced at Suzan with discomfort. Immediately she left the foyer.

He looked straight into Stella's eyes and said, "However, you need to come with me? "

"Where?" She asked in hesitation and surprise.

Jacob got up. He looked at a photograph of Stella and her husband together kept on a table.

" Just, have trust... its regarding the worries you are going through recently" Jacob said and headed to the front door. Stella got up and followed him.

It was evening. A huge old castle stood beside the road, surrounded by the dense trees. Sun had just set in the west and there were still its signs visible in the sky. There was a huge open space in front of the castle, and on the other side of the open space, there was dense wood. A gust of air flowed wildly and with the breeze the trees started swaying. Just next to the castle there was a narrow well, encircled with the wildly grown grass. It was evident from the condition of the well that it was not being used since long. Far from this castle, there was a village nestled at the bottom of a hill. It appeared that the people from the village generally avoided coming to the castle and the place around.

A Negro kid from the village, Frank, around 7-8 years of age, black but quite cute, was playing around with his calf. In fact he brought his calf for feeding nearby in the adjacent farms. The calf also seemed to be affectionate about the boy. When the boy used to caress him, he used to run away jumping like a spring bug. While running and jumping with fun, the calf entered in the castle premises. Frank also followed him. As Frank entered the castle premises, a wave of panic pierced his body, as he was warned by his parents not to enter this premises. But as the calf entered, he just followed him to protect him.

He called out, while running behind the calf, " Gavin... stop"

They used to call him 'Gavin' lovingly.
By this time the calf not only entered the premises, but also started to go to the well adjacent to the castle, passing across the open space in front of the castle.

" Gavin don't go there..." Frank again warned him.

But the calf was not ready to listen. He reached the well and climbed the rock heap circled around the well.

Now Frank was getting concerned about the calf, for he had heard so many dreadful stories about the well. He heard that an animal once fallen in the well had never returned. And whoever tried to bring them back had also never returned. That might be the reason why they called it as a 'Black hole'. Frank stopped, as if frozen.

May be, the calf is running since he is running behind him...

He thought.
And if he keeps on running like this, for sure he is going to fall in the well...
Though Frank stopped running, yet the calf didn't want to come down.Now he also started walking around the well.

Frank was totally clueless about what to do next. He looked around, to find nothing other than the tall dreadful old walls of the castle, and the dense trees around. Now he started to feel terrified. Till now he had just heard about the castle and the black hole, but now for the first time, he had come in the premises. People said it was dreadful, but it was even more dreadful than it.  But he was so attached to the calf that he would never go leaving him alone. Frank slowly approached the edge of the well. The calf was standing on the other edge. Suddenly he saw that a rock slipped from below the calf's foot and trembled into the well.

" Gavin..." Frank screamed again.

Though the rock fell in the well but it didn't produce any sound. Frank went still closer to the edge and looked inside. The edge was visible till some distance but then there was neither an edge nor bottom of the well that was visible. There was only dark, the dark stretching to infinity. Probably this might be another reason, why people called it a black hole. Suddenly again another rock slipped on which one foot of the calf was resting. The rock fell in the well, but this time unfortunately the calf also fell in the well followed by the rock.

" Gavin...'' Frank cried.

This time the rock and the calf disappeared in the well, in the black limitless vaccum. There was neither sound nor the sign of the existence of the calf. Frank was shocked, not knowing what to do. He looked into the well, in a hope that he could see his beloved calf, and was crying moaning ‘ Gavin... Gavin’

It was since long, Frank was looking in the well stooping over the edge. Now his tears were dried up. He realized that his beloved ‘Gavin’ was never going to come back. The area around the well and the castle seemed to be appearing more dreadful now as it was getting late and was getting dark. Frank got up and started to return to home with heavy heart.

Frank must have reached around hundred feet from the well, when he sensed something behind. A wave of fear entered his body. He started to walk as fast as possible, so that he could get out of the area quickly. Suddenly a voice came from his behind. He abruptly stopped.

It is the known voice...

Gathering courage, he turned to look back. And what a surprise! It was his beloved Gavin who was running to reach him making his peculiar sound ‘Hamba... Hamba...’

“ Gavin..’’, Frank's face beamed up with happiness.

But how did it happen?...

Frank was least bothered about the cause, as this moment the most important thing for him was that he has got his Gavin back, and nothing more he would have desired at that moment. He opened his arms and desperately hugged Gavin and started kissing him all over.

In the dim moon light Command1 and Command2 were sitting on the terrace. A laptop was kept in front of them. They were taking small swigs of Whisky in between. Command1 was swiftly giving commands to the computer, keying the number of keys per second, which was almost impossible to count by mere observing.
“ Hey ... What are you doing?” Command2 asked curiously.
“ You know this freak police officer John is working on our case “ Command1 said still continuing his swift keying.
“ So?”
“ We should know what exactly is going on in his dumb little mind”
“But how could we know what’s going on his mind?” Command2 wondered.
“ Look, now he is online.. I am sending this mail to him, which will break his password” Command1 said coolly.
“ But how?”
“ Patience.. patience...” Command1 pressed a ‘send’ button and said, “ Look, when he will open this mail, he will get a message ‘Session Expired’ ... And he will enter his password again, which in fact will be captured by our program, and will be duly sent to us” Command1 exhibited a criminal like smile.

“ What a mind!” Command2 could not stop to praise him; he kept his whisky glass aside.
“ Gradually... you will also learn all this “ Command1 gave an assuring tap on his back.
“ Why should I worry .. When I have a ‘Guru’ like you?” Now Command1 seemed to be exaggerating. In an attempt to show over excitement he happened to push a whisky glass kept aside, tried to save, but in vain, finding 4-5 broken glass pieces on the floor. He began to pick up the pieces. Command1 glanced at what his associate is doing and continued with his laptop.
“ Oooh...” Command2 cried.
“ What happened” Command1 asked.
“ Finger cut” he showed him the cut finger, which was cut with one of the glass pieces, he was picking up.
“ Be brave .. Don’t act like a kid” Command1 said in little scolding tone and got absorbed again in his work on computer.
Command2 picked up the glass pieces with his bleeding hand, put it in a polythin bag lying nearby, knotted the polythin bag and threw it behind in the bush.
Suddenly they heard a mail buzzer.
“ Has he opened? ... seems to be in great hurry to get his password broken...” Command1 opened the email. It was blank. He suddenly put off his laptop.
“ What’s wrong?” Command2 asked.
“ He is not a foolish as we thought... he seems to be suspecting” Command1 said.
“ May be his password is blank, as the email is blank” Command2 gave his opinion.
“ Mr. Command2 .. for your kind information.... Email password is never blank” Command1 said in his special tone.
“ But why did you shut down the computer so hurriedly” Command2 asked curiously.
“ You know, if he is suspecting, he definitely will try to trace us”
“ Oh ... I see”
Command1 got up, picking his Whisky glass.
“ We should not sit in wide open sky” Command2 said in concern, at the same time changing the topic.
“ Why?” Command1 took a swig and said.
“ No ... I heard that American satellite can see on the earth up to 10 by 10 inch clearly ... I mean, if it’s a truth, we can also be caught.”
Command1 was taking a walk around the terrace, stopped suddenly, and broke into a loud laughter.
“ What’s wrong”  Command2 asked surprisingly.
“ You know these Americans are expert in making propaganda and havoc... if their satellites can see clearly up to 10 by 10 inches then why can’t they catch Osama?... Yes … it’s right in some cases, there is no match for their technology... but with a single truth they push 10 lies... You know that is what called as sugarcoating.”
“ Sugar coating?”
“ You know during World War-II why Hitler’s army fought till the last minute?”
Command2 simply looked puzzled at him.
“Hitler had made a propaganda that there will be entry of a missile V2 soon in their army... And had it come in their army, they could have ruled the world too” Command1 said.
“ Then was their army equipped with it?’’ Command2 asked.
“ It would have come, if it existed”
“ What?”
“ He had just made a propaganda”.
Command1 pushed the computer button to start it.
“ Why are you starting now.. He may trace us again” Command2 expressed his concern.
“ No he will not... Now we will get different IP address... “ Command1 was waiting for the computer to start.

By this time the computer was on, and a message popped up at the right corner of the monitor. It was an email.
“ It’s Boss” Command1 said while opening it.
As he went through it, he called out “ Command2”
“ Yes”
“ We have been instructed for the next mission” Command1 said, while reading it.
Command2 arched over his shoulder to see what is written in the mail.
